A comprehensive Quality System Manager is available for companies that must maintain their ISO certification. New BS9001:2000 Quality Management system requirements such as the quality manual, document control, customer communication, purchasing, traceability, control of monitoring and measuring devices, analysis of data and corrective preventive action are all met by the Quality System.
All activities related to quality management is input into the Quality System Manager so the management team can use the system to address non-conformity issues, pursue quality objectives, promote continuous improvement and, ultimately, meet customer satisfaction goals. Existing quality management tools cover internal and external audits, calibration, document control and non-compliance.
Management of the Quality System requires the processing of large amounts of paper: quality manuals, company procedures, audit archives and calibration functions. Updating a single procedure or undergoing an internal procedure audit may require a number of duplicated copies. The Quality System Manager can eliminate the task of circulating copies to all affected parties by centralizing important guidance documents, where all authorized users of the system can gain access to the information. Whenever a procedure is updated, the affected data becomes live and is immediately accessible to all users, eliminating the need for photocopying, signing and distributing documents.
Internal and external quality audits can also be set up, planned and implemented with ease, and all relevant data can be input into the Quality System Manager, including proposals for corrective and preventive action. The company quality representative can audit almost all of the business requirements from any terminal and quickly hone in on any outstanding issues. The Quality System Manager also promotes prompt corrective action as non-conformities or set quality objectives remain visible to everyone until addressed.
